Full Scope Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) at Women & Infants
About The Position
Women’s Care is seeking a Full Scope Certified Nurse Midwife to join an established, highly respected collaborative practice with twelve CNMs serving families in southeastern New England. The role includes office hours at one or more of four locations—Providence, East Providence, Pawtucket, and East Greenwich—as well as hospital coverage. Midwives attend births and provide antepartum and postpartum care at Women & Infants Hospital, where the group manages 100–120 births per month. The practice offers a balance of obstetric and gynecologic patient care, a diverse established patient population, physician support, and a supportive learning environment for new graduates. Administrative time is built into office hours. The position has a 40-hour work week that includes night and weekend hospital coverage. Women & Infants Hospital is the region’s premier hospital for women and newborns and a Designated Baby-Friendly® USA hospital. It is the nation’s ninth-largest stand-alone obstetrical service and operates one of the nation’s largest single-family-room neonatal intensive care units. The hospital has close to 9,000 births and 7,000 surgeries annually and provides care across a broad range of women’s health needs. Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife qualification.
- The position includes a 40-hour work week and night and weekend hospital coverage.
