About The Position
Critical Nurse Staffing is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide private-duty, one-on-one care in a patient’s home. The role supports veterans, workers’ compensation claimants, and former energy workers who want to remain independent and live at home. The CNA provides compassionate care in accordance with each patient’s Plan of Care and helps maintain the patient’s safety, comfort, and independence. The position is scheduled every weekend—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—and pays $17.00–$20.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Current license as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Current TB test.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Follow the Plan of Care to provide safe, competent care and services to the patient.
- Help the patient maintain personal hygiene and a healthy, safe environment.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals.
- Assist the patient with ambulation as detailed in the Patient Care Plan.
- Encourage the patient’s independence without exceeding the capabilities outlined in the Patient Care Plan.
- Perform routine housekeeping tasks.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality, work with others at all levels of the company, provide exceptional customer service, and act honestly.
- Promote personal safety and a safe environment for clients.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies, procedures, and job requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
