About The Position
South Ogden Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents who need ongoing medical and personal care. The role involves helping residents with daily living activities, maintaining their comfort and safety, observing and documenting intake when needed, and communicating changes in condition to nursing staff. The work directly affects residents’ comfort, safety, and quality of life. The facility provides 24/7 resident care and offers hands-on training tailored to the employee’s experience level.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification.
- Clear communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and follow healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to resident call lights.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.
- Safely reposition and support residents to maintain comfort and prevent injury.
- Monitor and document food and fluid intake when needed.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Build respectful, supportive relationships with residents.
