About The Position
Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is opening a brand-new Assisted Living neighborhood on Kiawah Island and is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to be part of establishing the community's culture and providing exceptional resident care from the beginning. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Active South Carolina CNA Certification
- Listed in good standing on the South Carolina Nurse Aide Registry
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to excellence
Responsibilities
- Assisting with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Providing personal care according to individualized care plans
- Supporting residents during meals and dining experiences
- Building meaningful relationships with residents and families
- Monitoring and reporting changes in resident condition
- Documenting care accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborating with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Maintaining a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment
