About The Position

The Nursing Assistant performs specified services for patients as delegated by a Licensed Nurse and maintains a working knowledge of organizational and nursing policies. The position is on 5 East, a 32-bed Cardiac Intermediate Critical Care unit caring for adult and geriatric patients who need a higher level of care than medical floors provide but no longer require critical care. The position works indoors, involves irregular hours across shifts, and carries a high risk of exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
