About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for its Skilled Nursing Unit at Edgewood Hospital. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of an RN or LPN, including helping patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care and comfort, and helping maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients. The position is regular, full-time, and scheduled for 30 hours per week on the first shift.
Requirements
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the state where the work is performed.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of the Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry.
- Current CPR for the professional rescuer.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Successful work employment history.
