About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant/Clerical Assistant for the 4NW TCU Cardiac/Telemetry Step Down Unit at Florence Hospital. The role coordinates and maintains the unit’s clerical functions and provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. The assistant helps patients with activities of daily living, provides personal care and comfort, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
Requirements
- Certification in the state where work is performed as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of the Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Must not be listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry.
- Current CPR for the professional rescuer.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Successful work employment history.
