About The Position
St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant Clerical Assistant (CNA/CA) for its 4NW TCU Cardiac/Telemetry Step Down Unit at Florence Hospital. The role coordinates and maintains the unit’s clerical functions and provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week, from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Requirements
- Certification in the state where the work is performed as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Completion of applicable state courses.
- Successful completion of the Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
- Must not be listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry.
- Current CPR for the professional rescuer.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Successful work employment history.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the clerical functions of the unit.
- Provide direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide patients with personal care and comfort.
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
