About The Position

Focused Post Acute Care Partners is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity. The role supports resident safety and provides personal care, assistance with meals and transfers, and a clean, safe, supportive environment. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas.
Must be in good standing on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry and Misconduct Registry.
Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
Ability to safely push, pull, lift, bend, kneel, and reach, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

Help ensure resident safety.
Provide personal care, including bathing, showering, shampooing, shaving, hair combing, dressing, and nail care for assigned residents.
Follow the resident assignment schedule provided by the charge nurse.
Lift, move, and transfer residents as needed.
Respond to call lights in a timely manner.
Assist residents with eating or feed them.
Keep residents clean and dry, including providing toileting and incontinence care.
Provide residents with supportive, protective, and safe environments.
Use electronic medical records for charting through PointClickCare.
Perform other duties as assigned.
