About The Position
Priority Management is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide for Brush Country Nursing and Rehabilitation in Austin, Texas. The role assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting their independence and dignity. The care team serves patients and residents with dedication and compassion and is committed to excellent care and recovery.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current Nurse Aide certification and good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
Responsibilities
- Promote resident safety.
- Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress, and provide nail care for assigned residents.
- Follow the resident assignment schedule prepared by the charge nurse.
- Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
- Answer call lights in a timely manner.
- Assist or feed residents.
- Keep residents clean and dry, including toileting and providing incontinent care.
- Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
