About The Position

As a Certified Nurse Aide at Legacy Living Defiance in Defiance, Ohio, you will provide direct care to residents to help improve or maintain their abilities as outlined in individualized care plans. You will assist with activities of daily living and work with a dedicated healthcare team to support residents’ well-being and quality of life. Requirements

• Valid CNA certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with residents and their families.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential direct care to residents in accordance with their individualized plans of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and transferring.
• Provide verbal prompts, physical support, or more extensive assistance as needed.
• Seek guidance from the Wellness Director when uncertain about assignments, procedures, or situations.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and contribute to a supportive, respectful environment for residents.
