About The Position

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care and support to residents. The role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. The CNA supports residents with daily care and works closely with the care team to provide high-quality service. Responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, maintaining their environment, supporting mobility, recording vital information, helping with positioning, and encouraging engagement through exercises and reality orientation as directed.

Requirements

Hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
Accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
Communicate well and demonstrate self-discipline and patience.
Show genuine care for elderly individuals and people with disabilities.
Understand and uphold the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Demonstrate strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing in accordance with care policy guidelines.
Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
Accurately document vital signs, weights, intake and output, and meal consumption.
Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
Lead range-of-motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
Follow safety policies and procedures and uphold the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
