About The Position

Dunlap Specialty Care, a 46-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Dunlap, Iowa, is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for full-time or part-time night shifts. The CNA joins a compassionate care team serving residents during their healthcare journey and supports their daily, emotional, health-monitoring, and recreational needs in a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor resident health, including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance residents’ health and daily routines.
• Follow infection control protocols to help maintain a clean and safe environment.
