About The Position

Join the care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), providing compassionate daily care and support to residents. Work closely with the care team to provide high-quality service while supporting residents’ comfort, safety, and engagement.

Requirements

• Hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Be able to accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Communicate well and demonstrate self-discipline and patience.
• Show genuine care for elderly individuals and people with disabilities.
• Demonstrate reliability, strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing according to care policy guidelines.
• Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Accurately document vital signs, weights, intake and output, and meal consumption.
• Routinely turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Lead range-of-motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Uphold the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
