About The Position

Iris Memory Care of Edmond is building its PRN pool and is looking for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) who desire flexible work in a warm, close-knit environment. This is a single-building memory care assisted living community with 57 residents, specializing in caring for individuals with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. As an age-in-place community, the role involves caring for residents across the full spectrum of the disease, offering a smaller team with a greater impact.

Requirements

Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
High school diploma or GED required
At least 18 years of age
Flexibility to pick up shifts across all schedules as needed
Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss
Reliable work history — consistency matters deeply to our residents

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, compassionate care to help residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights.
Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
Assist with individual and group activities that enrich residents’ daily lives.
