About The Position
Iris Memory Care of Tulsa is seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) for their PRN pool. This role offers flexible work in a warm, close-knit environment within a freestanding memory care assisted living community of 54 residents. The community specializes in caring for residents with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia, providing age-in-place care across the full spectrum of the disease. The position emphasizes providing hands-on, compassionate care to help residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
Requirements
- Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable work history
- Flexibility to pick up shifts across all schedules as needed
- Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position
Nice To Haves
- Memory care experience
- Experience working with older adults
- Experience in memory care or with dementia residents
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility
- Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment
- Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights
- Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families
- Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times
- Assist with individual and group activities that enrich residents’ daily lives
