About The Position

We are looking for a compassionate caregiver/CNA to join our growing team. The right candidate has a can-do attitude, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to provide many levels of support to clients. The role provides personal care and daily-living assistance to elderly patients and people recovering from surgeries, injuries, or accidents. Requirements

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting and be eager to improve and continuously learn new skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every day.
• Demonstrated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends.
• At least 1 year of prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.
• Supportive and compassionate demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent, experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA, or completion of a CNA program.
• Take pride in providing high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

• Hoyer lift experience, specific to the client.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance, including help with showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help clients take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Help clients move around their homes or outside, including attending doctor’s appointments and taking walks.
• Plan and prepare meals.
• Assist with physical therapy exercises.
• Complete clients’ shopping or accompany them while they shop.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Report unusual incidents and respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
• Assist patients with meals and other activities essential for daily living, including serving meals and related tasks as needed.
