About The Position

Iris Memory Care of NW OKC is seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Certified Medication Aides (CMA) for their PRN pool. This role offers flexible work in a warm, close-knit environment focused on memory care. The community is a freestanding memory care assisted living facility with 54 residents, specializing in Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, allowing for care across the full spectrum of the disease. The position emphasizes providing hands-on, compassionate care to help residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.

Requirements

Active listing on the Oklahoma Nurse Aide Registry (required)
High school diploma or GED required
At least 18 years of age
Reliable work history
Flexibility to pick up shifts across all schedules as needed
Ability to meet continuing education and certification requirements for your position

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of experience working with older adults preferred
Experience in memory care or with dementia residents strongly preferred
Genuine warmth, patience, and compassion for those living with memory loss

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, compassionate care that helps residents live with dignity, comfort, and joy.
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal care, dining, and mobility.
Support residents with life enrichment activities and social-recreational programming.
Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, comfortable, home-like environment.
Monitor and document vital signs and monthly weights.
Offer emotional and physical comfort and support to residents and families.
Uphold each resident’s dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality at all times.
Assist with individual and group activities that enrich residents’ daily lives.
