About The Position

Odebolt Specialty Care, a 38-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Odebolt, Iowa, is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide to join its compassionate care team. The role supports residents throughout their healthcare journey by providing daily living assistance, emotional support, health monitoring, and opportunities for recreational and therapeutic engagement. The available schedule is full-time or part-time evenings from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a competitive hourly rate and shift differential.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in Iowa, or the ability to activate certification.
• Strong commitment to resident care, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Communicate and interact with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
• Monitor residents' health, including conducting routine vital checks.
• Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' health and daily routines.
• Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
