About The Position
Valley View is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to complete its in-house Nurse Aide Certification program. The upcoming class starts January 4, and classes take 4–5 weeks. Valley View pays candidates while they learn, covers the course expense, and reimburses exam costs. Candidates are expected to schedule and complete the written and skills exams at local Credentia testing sites within 120 days. After graduation and certification, candidates receive extensive hands-on training and are scheduled for a predetermined capacity. The role involves learning to provide nursing care and services according to residents’ assessments, care plans, and state and federal regulations, including personal care and assistance with daily activities. Requirements
- Candidates are expected to schedule the written and skills examinations at local Credentia testing sites within 120 days.
Responsibilities
- Learn to provide nursing care and services in accordance with residents’ assessments, care plans, and state and federal regulations.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, oral, hair, and nail care, shaving, and incontinence care.
- Assist residents with daily activities such as walking, eating, and repositioning.
- Schedule and complete the written and skills examinations at local Credentia testing sites within 120 days.
- Complete hands-on training after earning certification.
