Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Current Nurse Aide certification.
- Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- Ability to understand, remember, and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
Responsibilities
- Assure resident safety.
- Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, and dress assigned residents appropriately; provide nail care.
- Follow the resident assignment schedule set by the charge nurse.
- Lift, move, and transfer residents as required.
- Answer call lights in a timely manner.
- Assist or feed residents.
- Keep residents clean and dry, including toileting and providing incontinence care.
- Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
