About The Position
The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) provides compassionate, empathetic resident care, including medication administration and various treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse. The role helps ensure residents are safe, cared for, and feel at home by completing assigned tasks in a timely, efficient, and safe manner. The CMT communicates and interacts with residents, patients, families, and other health team members to support resident safety and well-being.
Requirements
- Be in good standing with the State Nursing Assistant Registry.
- Meet state requirements for medication administration.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Hold BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital or long-term care experience preferred.
