About The Position
The Certified Medication Technician (CMT) provides compassionate and empathetic resident care, including medication administration and various treatments under the direction of a licensed nurse. The CMT completes assigned tasks to ensure resident care is timely, efficient, and safe, and communicates with residents, patients, families, and other health team members to support residents’ safety and well-being. Benedictine is a nonprofit senior care organization founded by the Sisters of St. Scholastica. Requirements
- Be in good standing with the State Nursing Assistant Registry.
- Meet state requirements for medication administration.
- Have good communication skills.
- Be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Hold BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital or long-term care experience preferred.
