Requirements

Valid State License/Certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT).
Insulin Certification is required for this role.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently, demonstrating strong initiative.
Possess reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Assisting in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment that is conducive to the best interest and welfare of our residents.
Exercising independent judgment and discretion in performing tasks, understanding that responsibilities extend beyond routine care to ensure resident well-being.
Administering or assisting with self-administration of medication and treatments with precision and care.
Observing residents' responses to existing treatment plans, recognizing prominent medication interactions and side effects, and promptly notifying the Supervisor of any concerns.
Maintaining residents' records daily in a timely and accurate manner.
Completing an accurate accounting of all medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with established policies.
Delegating job responsibilities and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the medicine supply room to ensure a safe community.
