About The Position
Centurion provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections and is seeking a Per Diem Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for Fulton Reception and Diagnostic Correctional Center in Fulton, Missouri. Under the direction of the facility Director of Nursing or nursing designee, the CMT administers medications as prescribed, documents medication administration, and documents and reports any noted adverse actions or side effects. The position is per diem, as needed, and pays from $21 per hour plus shift differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Maintain active status on the Missouri State Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Registry.
- Insulin certification.
- Complete an approved Certified Nurse Assistant program and maintain active status as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
- Provide or obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
- Maintain active certification in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use.
- Pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in an acute care, emergency, or correctional setting.
