Requirements

• Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in long-term care or assisted living.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
