About The Position
Bay Ridge Rehabilitation is hiring a PRN Certified Medication Aide (CMA). The role is in a nursing environment that emphasizes support, collaboration, and growth. The aide administers prescribed medications to residents, documents administration and related activities, and monitors residents for medication effects or changes in condition.
Requirements
- CMA certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications to residents accurately and safely in accordance with physician orders, the Medication Administration Record (MAR), and facility policies.
- Document medication administration and related activities, including doses given, refusals, and timing, in the resident record in a timely and compliant manner.
- Monitor residents for medication effects and changes in condition and immediately report concerns to licensed nursing staff.
