About The Position

Claiborne Senior Living is hiring Medication Technicians / Certified Medication Aides to safely administer medications and support resident care in a senior living community. The role uses medication administration skills in a structured, supportive environment and is suited to someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and takes ownership of resident safety. The position is offered for full-time day and night shifts.

Requirements

• Active CMA or Medication Technician certification; state requirements apply.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Reliable and focused, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in senior living, assisted living, or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications according to physician orders, state regulations, and community policy.
• Follow the Six Rights of medication administration and proper documentation standards.
• Monitor residents for medication effectiveness and side effects.
• Report changes in residents’ condition or other concerns to nursing leadership.
• Maintain accurate medication records and controlled substance counts.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.
