About The Position
Misty Willow Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) for the Day shift (6a-2p). This role is responsible for administering prescribed medications to residents and maintaining related medical records under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The position is a non-exempt, hourly role that provides basic care and assistance with the administration of medications to residents of a skilled nursing or assisted living facility. A state-issued certification is required.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a CMA in the state of Texas is required
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of Texas is required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year of previous health care experience preferred
