About The Position

The Medical Assistant supports physicians and other professional healthcare providers in an ambulatory care setting by delivering direct and indirect patient care. The position performs routine medical assisting procedures to promote patient comfort, safety, and quality care. The role is full time on the day shift at a sleep medicine office and includes a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent and/or completion of a one-year medical assistant program or an accredited two-year medical assisting program.
Previous experience or training in general medical office skills and procedures.
Proficiency in or knowledge of medical terminology.
Medical Assistant certification or registration through AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA is required within 90 days of hire; it is preferred at hire.
CPR certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of experience in a medical or physician office.
Basic business office, clinical, and computer skills.
