About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role is a full-time position with 40 hours weekly, working Monday - Thursday (6:45 am - 4:30 pm) and Fridays (7:00 am - 12:00 pm). The Family Care Clinic offers a supportive leadership team, a collaborative work environment, and opportunities for growth and development. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

One year of CMA experience (PREFERRED)
ACLS or BCLS upon hire (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
Strong Unit Based Council (UBC).
