About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process. The primary functions include conducting patient check-out, surgery scheduling, and post-operative calls. The position also involves communicating with patients regarding test results and care plans as directed by a physician, ensuring patient safety and privacy. There may be opportunities to work in the front office or perform other duties as assigned by practice management or healthcare providers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

One year of CMA experience (PREFERRED)
ACLS or BCLS upon hire (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process

Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
