About The Position

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant. This role delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process. Key functions include conducting patient check out, surgery scheduling, and post-operative calls. The position also involves communicating with patients about test results and care plans as directed by a physician, ensuring patient safety and privacy. The role may also involve front office duties and other tasks as assigned by practice management or healthcare providers. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)

Nice To Haves

Two years of CMA experience (PREFERRED)
Willing to work primarily as a Phlebotomoist (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
ACLS or BCLS upon hire (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
May work in the front office as needed
May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
