About The Position

Princeton Medical Group, P.A., a privately owned outpatient medical practice with more than 30 providers and 8 specialties, is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Internal Medicine team. The role supports clinical operations in a medical office and involves patient care, administrative coordination, and maintaining a safe clinical environment. The position requires regular rotation among the practice’s locations in Plainsboro, Princeton, and Monroe, New Jersey, and flexibility because the schedule may change. Overtime may be required. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Requirements

Valid Medical Assistant certification or credential.
Ability to cover for other Medical Assistants in their absence, as determined by the supervisor.
Recent experience in a medical office setting.
Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of client care.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pre-employment drug screening and professional reference check are required.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience as a Medical Assistant in a related medical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Escort patients to exam rooms and take vital signs.
Prepare patient charts with appropriate documentation and assist with maintaining logs.
Schedule lab tests and triage patient calls.
Schedule consultations.
Coordinate with the Infusion Department.
Assist physicians with procedures and examinations.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
Prepare and stock exam rooms in the clinical area for patient care.
Provide relief in other local offices as determined by the supervisor.
Demonstrate excellent customer service.
