About The Position

At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of Certified Medical Assistants strive to build a positive, supportive, and inclusive culture that delivers exceptional patient experiences in the ambulatory clinics. The Ambulatory Clinic Ahead Program (ACAP) is an exciting opportunity for CMAs to start in our hiring pool, receive standardized training to St. Luke’s and the opportunity to rotate through clinics to find a permanent position in a Treasure Valley clinic that is an ideal fit. Your Treasure Valley work location will vary based on current open positions and preference, including location, specialty, and shift. Clinic rotations offer a chance to explore different clinic positions firsthand and can help individuals make more informed decisions on final placement. Gain experience and expertise through our comprehensive standardized medical assistant onboarding, preparing you to excel in the dynamic environment of our clinics. Full-time day shift opportunities available in Primary Care and Specialty Clinic positions.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Current BLS-CPR Certification from the American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current recognized National Certification as a Medical Assistant from one of the following: NCCT, NAHP, AMT, AAMA, AMCA, or NHA
