About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for its Surgical Services Clinic in Marlette, Michigan. The role involves a variety of patient-care and administrative tasks, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting providers, using the EMR system, registering patients, verifying insurance, scanning medical records, calling patients with results, and completing medical documentation. The candidate should enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and provide quality care to patients of all ages while maintaining confidentiality. The health system seeks a positive, team-oriented professional committed to quality service for patients and employees. This is a full-time, day-shift position with full benefits.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a physician’s office.
- A positive attitude and the ability to engage patients warmly.
- Ability to work as a team player and solve problems.
- Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with physicians.
Nice To Haves
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA credential is preferred.
