About The Position

Coordinates clinic operations and assists providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry, and medical records management. Assists with and provides patient care and customer service as necessary. Maintains patient-care documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records. Demonstrates skill in clinical duties such as taking vitals, obtaining health histories, and performing other clinical duties as directed by clinicians. Uses time-management skills to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary.

Requirements

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
High school education, equivalent, or higher.
One of the following certifications: Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA); Registered Medical Assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT); or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Healthcare Career Association (NHA), plus either two years of experience or graduation from an in-person formal training program.
Must be certified through AAMA, AMT, or NHA.
