About The Position

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program with certification in EKG.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records.
• Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance, including a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist with direct patient care procedures and related tasks.
• Obtain patient histories, take vital signs, prepare charts, and assist with medical examinations.
• Assist doctors in examining and treating patients.
• Perform routine procedures under established protocols, including phlebotomy, EKGs, dressing changes, wound cultures, and IM injections.
• Maintain and stock medicines and medical supplies as necessary.
• Practice safety, environmental, and infection-control methods.
