About The Position

This role is for a Certified Medical Assistant at an Ascension Medical Group Clinic within Anderson Community Schools. The schedule is Monday 8am-5pm, Tuesday 6am-4:30pm, Wednesday 9am-1:30pm (clinic closed but MA on site for phones/VM and chart prep), Thursday 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-5pm. Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Certified Medical Assistant
Phlebotomy experience

2+ years experience preferred

Responsibilities

Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures while maintaining sterile and organized treatment rooms.
Streamline clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories in patient charts.
Transcribe provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring all diagnoses and follow-up instructions are documented with high precision.
Manage essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management to ensure seamless clinic daily operations.
