About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for Cass City Family Practice in Cass City, Michigan. The role performs patient-care tasks, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and assisting providers. Additional duties include using the electronic medical record system, registering patients, verifying insurance, scanning medical records, calling patients with results, and completing medical documentation. The successful candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment, provide quality care to patients of all ages, and maintain patient confidentiality. The position is full-time, with hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday. The posting states that full benefits are offered.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a physician’s office.
- A positive attitude and ability to engage patients warmly.
- Ability to work as a team player and solve problems.
- Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians.
Nice To Haves
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification is preferred.
