About The Position

Sentara Internal Medicine Kempsville is hiring a Medical Assistant for its Norfolk, Virginia office. The role performs patient-care and administrative or clerical tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, as delegated and under the direction or supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This is a full-time, day-shift position. An eligible candidate may receive a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Active CMA, CCMA, RMA, or NREMT-Basic certification.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
One year of clinical or administrative experience.
