CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Christ Community Health Services•Memphis, TN

About The Position

About the Role We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Certified Medical Assistant to help our Providers deliver excellent patient care - providing basic triage and keeping patients moving smoothly from check-in to doctor. In this role, working under the supervision of a Provider or nurse, you're the steady presence behind the scenes and at the bedside: prepping charts and rooms, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and making sure every patient's visit runs safely and on time. Our Core Values - and What They Look Like in This Role At CCHS, how the work is done matters as much as what is done. Our core values aren't wall art - they are performance expectations, and here is what they mean for a Certified Medical Assistant: Intentional Love - Love here is a choice, not a feeling. In this role it means treating every patient with patience and respect during vitals, procedures, and waiting-room moments alike, explaining Provider instructions clearly, and responding calmly and compassionately in a medical emergency. Devoted Service - We are go-getters who take initiative instead of waiting for someone else to act. In this role it means owning your rooms and your charts end to end - completing records before the exam, restocking and sanitizing between patients, chasing down a missing lab result before it holds up care, and never saying "that's not my job." Humble Excellence - Excellence is not perfection, but we reject mediocrity. In this role it means accurate charting, properly functioning equipment, and pursuing the highest standard of clinical support - while staying teachable: welcoming feedback, admitting mistakes early, and asking for help before something breaks.
