About The Position

Support our local community, possibly your neighbor, by becoming a member of the primary care team to provide direct patient care and provider support in our Multi-Specialty Clinic. SCHHC has an opening for a Medical Assistant. Provide coordinated patient-centered clinic support related to visit-level care. Work in collaboration with the clinic's healthcare team and perform a variety of duties to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. At the same time, being able to share your positive personality by greeting patients and escorting them to treatment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant program or certification through a nationally recognized accredited program (AAMA, NHA, NCCT) is required.
  • Have and maintain Basic Life Support Provider (BLS).
  • Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Record) required.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication, organizational skills, and computer proficiency, specifically in Microsoft Office and online software.
  • All applicants must be U.S. citizens or have proper authorization to work in the United States.
  • Unable to sponsor a Visa and Permanent Residency for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Two years of experience in an outpatient clinic setting is preferred.
  • EPIC experience is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a drive to provide exceptional service.
