About The Position

Ascension Medical Group Clinic in Zionsville, IN is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for their Family Medicine and Pediatrics department. This role operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4 pm. The Certified Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in assisting providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring sterile and organized treatment rooms. They will also be responsible for streamlining clinic workflow by interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and accurately recording medical histories. Additionally, the role involves transcribing provider orders for labs, imaging, and prescriptions, ensuring precise documentation of diagnoses and follow-up instructions. Essential administrative duties, including medical record maintenance, clerical support, and inventory management, are also part of the daily operations.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Medical Assistant obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Certified or Registered both accepted.
High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
