About The Position
The Certified Medical Assistant provides office duties in a medical office setting. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, rooming patients, processing prescription refills, entering lab and imaging orders, entering data into the EMR, and performing telephone triage. This is a permanent, full-time, 40-hour-per-week, benefits-eligible position located in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Requirements
- National medical assistant certification is required.
- Non-certified medical assistants must have at least two years of medical office experience to qualify.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Take patients’ vital signs.
