About The Position
Phaxis is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant for an internal medicine position in Charlotte, NC. The role supports patient care and clinic operations across locations in South Park, Uptown, and Waverly. There are three openings. This is a permanent position with a Monday-through-Friday daytime schedule and no weekends, holidays, or on-call work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- National certification as a CMA, RMA, AAMA, NHA, or AMT is required.
- A medical background and medical assistant experience are required.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations.
- Record patient information and vital signs.
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Perform basic laboratory tests.
- Administer medications as directed.
