About The Position
Phaxis is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant in Cary, North Carolina. The role supports patient care and clinic operations in a dynamic environment. This is a temp-to-perm position with two openings and a day schedule of four 10-hour shifts. Holidays and on-call work are not required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- National certification is required: CMA, RMA, AAMA, NHA, or AMT.
- Medical background and medical assistant experience.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program.
Responsibilities
- Greet and prepare patients for examinations.
- Record patient information and vital signs.
- Assist with medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
- Perform basic laboratory tests.
- Administer medications as directed.
