About The Position

Provides personal care assistance to patients under the direction of licensed personnel and/or an Administrator. The role includes direct patient care, patient triage and rooming, and clerical tasks. The Medical Assistant helps ensure patient safety, participates in ongoing educational activities, and completes assigned goals.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in standard English, in written, oral, and verbal formats, to support productivity and efficiency.
• Write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Computer literacy.
• Be certified by an approved accredited certification body, or obtain certification within six months of hire.
• Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of an approved nursing or medical assistant course.
• Maintain certification.
• Phlebotomy experience.
