About The Position

Noble Community Clinics is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Manitowoc or Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Medical Assistants are vital members of the care team, supporting providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, helping maintain smooth clinic operations, and creating a welcoming environment. The role includes both clinical and administrative tasks to help ensure patients receive a high standard of service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.
• Comfort working with diverse populations and in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience with Epic.
• Knowledge of EMRs, medical terminology, medications, immunizations, phlebotomy, and laboratory work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and procedures by taking vital signs, recording medical history, and updating patient charts.
• Document patient information in the EMR according to best-practice standards, including HIPAA compliance.
• Assist providers with examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Administer injectable medications and immunizations as ordered by a provider.
• Order and track immunizations and monitor daily inventory in accordance with the Vaccines for Children Program and the Wisconsin Immunization Registry.
• Educate patients about follow-up care, procedures, and treatments.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and medical equipment to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and EMR documentation.
• Triage patient calls and provide front-desk backup when needed.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient confidentiality regulations.
