About The Position
Aspire Rural Health System is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for Cass City Rapid Care in Cass City, Michigan. The role performs patient-care tasks and supports providers in a fast-paced environment, delivering quality care to patients of all ages while maintaining confidentiality. The position is full-time, scheduled for three 12-hour shifts, and includes full benefits.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a physician’s office.
- Great attitude and ability to engage patients with a smile.
- Team player and problem solver.
- Ability to interact positively and proactively at all levels of the organization and with all physicians.
Nice To Haves
- CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs.
- Assist the provider as necessary.
- Use the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Register patients and verify insurance.
- Scan medical records.
- Call patients with results.
- Complete proper medical documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality while providing care to patients of all ages.
